IFFMH presents: ›Top Gun:Maverick‹

Spectacular flight scenes, plenty of 80s nostalgia and plenty of emotion – ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ (2022) has already thrilled millions of cinema-goers. On 4 July, you now have the chance to experience this acclaimed action blockbuster in an extraordinary setting. The Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival and City Airport Mannheim are presenting the film – starring Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly and Val Kilmer, and directed by Joseph Kosinski – in the aircraft hangar at Mannheim Airport – a venue that is the perfect fit for the film.

This special event marks two significant anniversaries: the IFFMH will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2026 and is kicking off its anniversary year with this summer special. City Airport Mannheim is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
