Film submissions
Submissions for the 2025 edition
Submissions to the 74th IFFMH (6 - 16 Nov 2025) are possible from April 7 through July 15, 2025. You can find the link to the online submission form at the bottom of this page.
We’re looking for:
- first and second fictional feature films intended for theatrical release (documentaries cannot be submitted)
- with a runtime of at least 61 minutes (short films cannot be submitted)
- that have not yet been shown publicly in Germany
- whose world premiere has not yet taken place or has taken place after 15 September 2024
- that have never been submitted to the IFFMH (re-submissions are not possible)
Deadlines and Fees
Submissions will be accepted from April 7, 2025 at 10:00 CET through July 15, 2025 at 23:59 CET.
From April 7 through June 15, the submission fee is €25 (+7% VAT)
From June 16 through July 15, the submission fee is €40 (+7% VAT).
