Film submissions
Thanks for your submissions!
The submission period for the 75th IFFMH ended on 30 June 2026. Submissions for the 2027 edition will be possible from approximately March to June 2027. The precise regulations will be announced at the beginning of 2027. See you next year!
We’re looking for:
- first and second fictional feature films intended for theatrical release (documentaries cannot be submitted)
- with a runtime of at least 61 minutes (short films cannot be submitted)
- that have not yet been shown publicly in Germany
- that have never been submitted to the IFFMH (re-submissions are not possible)
