Heidelberger Frühling: Fibonacci Quartet (Concert)
The Fibonacci Quartet is one of the most exciting young string quartets on the international chamber music scene. Numerous awards and first prizes, as well as support from the Young Classical Artists Trust, speak for themselves. At the center of the concert is Claude Debussy’s only string quartet, by the great Impressionist among classical composers. A visionary and an inquisitive mind, he broke with convention and created not only works of timeless beauty but also an entirely new musical language. Debussy as a pioneer—and a quartet that brings this spirit of innovation to life.
The concert is part of the “Kammermusik+” series of the Heidelberger Frühling. The “+” denotes a discussion with the artists, which will explore the theme of “Imagine Futures!” that evening.
[Please note, that the spoken language during this event will be German.]
