On the planet Ygam, the giant blue Draags live in a technologically advanced society; the human Oms, accidentally brought from planet Terra, are enslaved and serve, at best, as pets. Terr, an Om boy, escapes from a Draag girl and brings the knowledge of the Draags to the wild Oms…

Thanks to its visually stunning imagery and psychedelic jazz soundtrack, this surreal, intoxicating animated spectacle exerts an irresistible hypnotic pull. This fantastical journey through an alien world—which is also a political parable—was awarded the Special Prize at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival.
