With this early masterpiece, Ridley Scott shaped modern science fiction cinema like few filmmakers have. In a dark, futuristic Los Angeles, where artificially created humans are barely distinguishable from real humans, former police officer Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is tasked with tracking down several fugitive replicants. But the deeper he delves into their world, the more the boundaries between human and machine blur.

The unique visual style, the urban landscape bathed in darkness and neon colors, and—not least—the profound philosophical questions about memory, identity, and humanity have made ›Blade Runner‹ a timeless film. In 2017, it inspired ›Dune‹ director Denis Villeneuve to make a sequel. We’re screening this classic in the Final Cut version!
