In a city of the future, the supercomputer Alpha 60 controls people’s thoughts and feelings. All individuality, love, and poetry are forbidden under threat of the death penalty. But secret agent 003 Lemmy Caution is tasked with fighting against this totalitarian technocratic system and ultimately destroying the seemingly omnipotent Alpha 60.

Jean-Luc Godard’s science-fiction classic won the Golden Bear at the 1965 Berlinale. Through its camera angles alone, the film transforms modern-day Paris into a futuristic city of horror.
