Under the theme “Imagine Futures!”, and together with our partners and friends from the cultural and social sectors, we have been rolling out the pink carpet since the beginning of September to mark the 75th anniversary of the IFFMH. It served as an invitation—offered in the spirit of friendship—to explore major questions about the future through a wide variety of formats. Our retrospective this year, “Back to the Futures! Utopias vs. Dystopias,” builds on this; it brings together historical cinematic visions of the future and is dedicated to the significance that perspectives on the future hold for us as human beings.
