A serious accident shatters a young boxer’s entire world. Now he must learn to understand his body, his emotions, and his environment completely anew.

Camille (Samuel Kircher) is good – very good, in fact. He’s a virtuoso young talent on the boxing team of his sports boarding school. But then he nearly dies in an accident. Camille survives only thanks to his best friend Matteo. When the doctors finally discharge him and declare him healed, Camille still feels an inexplicable physical pain. Everyone in his environment, including Matteo, refuses to acknowledge any “weakness”. Camille’s world falls apart, and he risks losing everything – his goals, his dreams, and his friendship.

›Wild Foxes‹ is a compelling look at youth, vulnerability, and the struggle to understand one’s own identity in a male-dominated environment. A film of great intensity, at once harsh and tender.

Director

Valéry Carnoy is considered one of the most promising young directors from Belgium. He initially studied psychology before turning to film.
