Mother Teresa goes heavy metal! The human side of the saint, woman, nun and – in her own way – mother, with all the contradictions that entails.

Calcutta, August 1948: Mother Teresa is 37 years old and the mother superior of a convent. With a restless heart, she waits for a letter from the Vatican granting her permission to do what she feels God is calling her to do: found her own order. Just when everything seems to be turning out well for her, her closest confidante lets her in on a secret that could imperil them both. This puts Teresa’s faith and her worldly ambitions severely at odds. Over seven days, this gripping drama follows this selfless, strict, authoritarian, and ambitious woman and saint through this crisis. And it does so with heavy metal playing in the background.
