On November 10, the Young Film Festival will have its Family Day at the Stadthaus Mannheim! A colorful program featuring workshops, craft activities, great guests and, of course, film screenings awaits you - and our patron Clarissa Corrêa da Silva will also be there!

Here's what we have planned!

From 11:00 a.m.: Crafting, painting, taking photos! (all day). In our creative corner you can expect great offers all day long: Here you can make your own festival pass, take photos in front of the photo wall or paint a picture of your favourite film. No registration necessary, just drop by!

11:00 a.m. FILM: ‘Christmas of the Animals’ (FSK 0)

11:00 WORKSHOP: From the film idea to the storyboard. From 7 years | Duration: 120 min Participation is free of charge Registration at: jungesfilmfest@iffmh.de

12:00 WORKSHOP: We're building a geodesic dome! Together with the ‘Vision Domes’ team, you will construct a geodetic dome. You will not only learn about one of the strongest architectural forms, but also a lot about sustainability. Afterwards you can decorate the dome with sails you have painted yourself.

14:00 Meet the Adler mascot Udo! The Adler Mannheim mascot is coming to the festival - will you be there?

14:30 FILM: ‘Savages’ (FSK 6)

17:00 WORKSHOP: The forest is everywhere with Clarissa Corrêa da Silva. Admission free! Registration unterjungesfilmfest@iffmh.de, age recommendation: from 7 to 12 years

SNACKS: Our festival lounge will be serving delicious mini pizzas, muffins and hot children's punch as well as free water from 11am.

With the exception of the films, participation in the supporting programme and workshops is free of charge.
