Drug lord Tama has barricaded himself in a high-rise building along with some of Jakarta’s most dangerous killers. When a special police squad begins to storm the building, Tama puts a price on the cops’ heads. Led by their commander Wahyu, they have to fight their way up floor by floor.

A surprise success upon release, Gareth Evans’s ›The Raid‹ is now regarded as one of the best action films of the last two decades. Everything here revolves around perfectly choreographed martial arts scenes, with the fighting bodies of the actors achieving a veritable cinematic ecstasy.
